What we collect

  • Details you send through our contact form or by email, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
  • Usage statistics about how the site is used, such as pages visited, approximate location and device type. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't. You can block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How we use it

We use what you send us only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services. We don't sell or rent personal information.

Service providers

Contact form messages are delivered to us through Formspree. Website statistics are processed by Google Analytics. Client documents are exchanged through our secure client portal (Financial Cents). Invoices are paid through QuickBooks Online's secure payment pages, and we never see or store card details. Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Please don't send confidential documents through the site

The contact form is for first enquiries only. Please don't include social insurance numbers, tax slips or financial records. We'll send you a secure portal link instead.

Consent

By sending us your information, you consent to us using it for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or professional obligations, by emailing us.

How we protect and keep it

We use reasonable security safeguards, including access controls and encrypted services, to protect personal information. We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond, and client records for the periods required by law and our professional obligations as Chartered Professional Accountants.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
